PingyWingy was built on a simple principle: a speed-test app has no business collecting your personal data. Every measurement — download, upload, ping, jitter, and connection history — is generated and stored entirely on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means.
PingyWingy does not collect any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, location, or device identifiers, and the app does not require an account to function.
Because no personal information is collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. Speed test results, ping readings, and diagnostic data exist solely to display information back to you, the user.
Your connection history log, saved test results, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud server or backed up to any remote database we control.
PingyWingy does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. Network measurements are performed directly between your device and standard internet test endpoints, and no results are logged by us.
Since your speed test history and diagnostics never leave your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no external database to breach. Your data's security is tied directly to your device's own security.
PingyWingy does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. As the app gathers no personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy protections such as COPPA.
There are no accounts to manage and no servers holding your data, so there's nothing to request or delete remotely. Uninstalling PingyWingy permanently removes your locally stored history and all app data from your device.
